支持波长突发和波带突发的光交换研究
Research on optical switching with wavelength burst and waveband burst

Abstract
With the increasing of traffic in the networks, the switching port number and the switching matrix scale, as well as the cost in the core nodes, are growing. In order to reduce the switching matrix scale and the node cost, the waveband switching idea is introduced to the OBS( optical burst switching) networks. New architectures of OBS network nodes are designed to support wavelength burst and waveband burst switching in the paper. An assembly algorithm and a channel scheduling algorithm are proposed for the OBS networks to support wavelength burst and waveband burst. The simulation analyses the impact of the number of ports and waveband granularity on the performance of the OBS network. The simulation results show that under the condition of a certain packet loss probability of propose architectures and algorithms could decrease the switching port number and reduce the cost of nodes through the appropriate proportion of ports and waveband granularity.关键词
