摘要

Abstract

The characteristic of road traffic accident is first analyzed, and the usua| memous Ior researct, on it are generally introduced. And based on checking the advantage of RBF Neural Networks on handling the highly non-linear problems, a forecasting model utilizing RBF Neural Networks is put forward. By means of the traffic ac- cident data of the years from 1990 to 2009 in China, a forecast model using RBF Neural Networks is built to pre- dict the traffic accidents occurring in the years from 2000 to 2010 and the result shows that the model has high re-liance and can provide fundamental data for the road traffic management of the administrative department.
