Sizing and Cost Analysis of Photovoltaic Generation System Based on Vanadium Redox Battery
摘要
Abstract
A new energy storage technology of vanadium redox battery is applied in photovoltaic(PV) power system, which is compared to traditional lead-acid battery from their physical characteristics and economical efficiency. Based on the characteristics of vanadium redox battery and hourly average radiation, ambient temperature of some area, the sizing and techno-economical analysis of a stand-alone photovoltaic power system is presented in this paper. The method adopted is based on the loss of power supply probability (LPSP) concepts. And this paper also optimize the system levelized cost of energy (LCE) in the aspect of economy.Simulation results show that the techno-economical of vanadium redox battery is prior to lead-acid battery. And the system which adopts vanadium redox battery as energy storage can improve system probability and decrease operation cost.关键词
