Design and test of a membraneless passive planar four-cell direct borohydride fuel cell stack
摘要
Abstract
A membraeless passive direct borohydride fuel cell (DBFC) stack that consisted of four unit cells was designed, fabricated and tested. The electrochemical experiments show that: the stack can obtain open-circuit-voltage (OCV) of 3.6 V and the maximal power of 400 mW at 1.5 V at ambient temperature. The performance of DBFC stack used KBH4 as fuel is better than that of NaBH4; the discharge stability is mainly affected by H2 bubbles from borohydride hydrolysis.关键词
