摘要

Abstract

In order to study the electro-catalytic behaviour of methanol electro-oxidation reaction with Ft decorating amorphous CoSn alloys, Ft decorating amorphous CoSn alloys catalyst supported on carbon (denote as Pt-CoSn/C) was prepared by the two-stage chemical synthesis. The structure of Pt-CoSn/C catalyst was confirmed by the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Under the same quality of noble metal, the Pt-CoSn/C catalyst had higher mass activity than Pt/C and PtRu/C catalysts in cyclic vottammetry for methanol oxidation. The structure of Pt decorating amorphous CoSn alloys could not only obviously decrease the usage of Pt but also enhance its catalytic activity.
