摘要

Abstract

Most high performance motion control systems rely on sine-cosine encoders for position and velocity feedback. Considering the disadvantages of the traditional open-loop processing method,a novel scheme called tracking-loop was proposed. In order to extract high resolution position and speed information from the sinusoidal encoder signals, a sine and cosine generator based on the CORDIC algorithm was designed and a PI controller was also established to suppress the noise. The algorithm and the controller is implement by using ordinary analog components and FPGA. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method can meet the requirements of the high performance motion control.
