极摩尔圆法计算二维平均运动学涡度
2-D mean vorticity numbers calculated from construction of polar Mohr diagram
摘要
Abstract
We propose a contour map of 2-D mean kinematic vorticity number ( Wm ) based on the formula Wm =cos[ arctan( l-Rs×tan2a)/( ( 1 +Rs ) ×tana) ] deduced from polar Mohr diagram, Rs and a are the finite strain ellipse ratio and S-C angle respectively. The map and the formula provide easy tools for vorticity analysis from finite strain in rocks. We also propose two parameters to distinguish shear types ( simple shear, pure shear, thinning general shear and thickening general shear) :a for the instantaneous strain and Rs×tan a for finite strain.关键词
