摘要

Abstract

According to the published rice Cry I a and Crylb gene sequences, we designed the related primers to get part of the gene fragments by PCR and constructed an ihpRNA plant expression vector named pSC1301-347-CrrlaCrrl6, then introduced it into rice by Agrobacterium-medisteA genetic transformation so as to cause the functional loss of the two genes at the same time. The effects of rice Cryla and Crylb on important agronomic traits were preliminarily analyzed based on the performance of the transformants. The results indicated that the transgenic plants retarded flowering over 16 d; the plant height increased significantly with the grain shape evidently becoming longer while the other traits observed did not change apparently.
