Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of compound seabuckthorn oil suppository in the treatment of cervical HPV infection.Methods 166 HPV positive patients who were exclusive of CIN Ⅲ,carcinoma in situ,and invasive carcinoma by Thin-prep cell test ( TCT ) or colposcopy-directed biopsies were treated according to the ASCCP guidelines.34 of the patients with CIN Ⅰ - Ⅱ received LEEP;,22patients with negative colposcope results were treated microwave treatment, whose TCT results were undefined significance of atypical squamous cells ( ASCUS ).With the informed consent,the patients were divided voluntarily into two groups.100 patients in the study group received compound seabuckthorn oil suppository for 60 to 90 days,and the 66 patients in the control group received no seabuckthorn oil ( data distribution was comparable ).HPV level and TCT were detected again on months 6,12,and 18.The negative conversion rate of HPV and the findings of TCT were compared.Results The negative conversion rate of HPV in the study group was 85％,92％,and 92％; whereas that in the control group was 30％,51％,and 57％,respectively.The differences were statistically significant ( P＜ 0.01 ).The findings of TCT results were normal in the study group,and were abnormal in two patients in the control group,with no significant differences.Conclusions Compound seabuckthorn oil suppository plays a significant role in the treatment of cervical HPV infection.关键词
