Preparation of MgAl_2O_4-C Nanopowder by Mechanical Alloying
摘要
Abstract
A nano-powder of MgAl2O4-C was prepared with aluminium and basic magnesium carbonate as starting materials by me-chanical alloying process.The resultant powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction,differential scanning calormetry-thermog-ravimetry,Raman spectroscopy and high resolution transmission electron microscopy.The results show that the well-dispersed nano-powder of MgAl2O4-C was obtained by a mechanical alloying process after 15 h milling.The content of spinel and carbon in-creased and degree of graphitization of carbon has been improved as grinding continued.After 50 h of milling,the reaction had been completed approximately between aluminium and basic magnesium carbonate;The addition of Ni(OH) 2 could accelerate the reaction process of raw materials system and the formation of spinel,At the same time,it is beneficial to the graphitization of resultant carbon obviously.关键词
