Abstract
(1–x)K0.5Na0.5NbO3–xCa0.3Ba0.7TiO3 [abbreviated as(1–x)KNN–xCBT] lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by a solid state reaction method.The effects of the content of CBT(x = 0–0.08) on the phase,microstructure,dielectric,and piezoelectric properties of samples were investigated.The results show that all the samples possess a perovskite structure.The phase structure of the samples at room temperature changed from orthorhombic symmetry to tetragonal symmetry,and the piezoelectric constant d33 and planar coupling factor kp of samples both first increased and then decreased,and the Curie temperature decreased with increasing the amount of CBT.In addition,a polymorphic phase transition from orthorhombic to tetragonal symmetry located in the composition range of 0.03≤x≤0.04.The ceramic sample in the composition when x = 0.03 had optimal piezoelectric properties(d33 = 142 pC/N,kp = 40%),and its dielectric losses were stable(i.e.,0.05) in the temperature range from room temperature to 380 ℃,indicating that the ceramic in the composition when x = 0.03 was a promising lead-free piezoelectric material.关键词
