Abstract
Experiments for interior ballistics investigation of underwater launch system are carried out under different launching depths and velocities,utilizing the variable depth underwater launch simulation facility. Simplified motion equations for modeling the subscale missile' s movement in the launcher are established, and a procedure for solving the motion equations based on the experiment results are proposed. Friction coefficients and launching velocities for each experiment are obtained after a thorough analysis of experiment results,with the launching velocities verified by digital image processing results. Numerical relationship between friction coefficient and launching velocity is established based on the curve fitting. Results show that the launching velocity increment causes an opposite changing of friction coefficient. A critical launching velocity dominating the friction coefficient's slop is proposed, below which the friction coefficient presents a steep slop. It shows that the critical value of launching velocity is about 18~20 m/s.关键词
