Abstract
Objective:To detect expression of transient receptor potential cation channel V5(TRPVS) in tumour and non-tumor tissues of human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) samples and to analyze its clinical significance, in an effort to elucidate its role in hepatocarcinogenesis. Methods:Tissue samples and clinical data were obtained from SS patients with HCC. The expression of TRPV5 was detected by immunohistochemistry. The relation between expression of TRPV5 and clinicopathological parameters was analyzed: Parameters included the tumor cell differentiation,tumor size and number,and portal vein tumor embolus. Resnlts:Immunohistochemistry showedthat high expression of TRPV5 was observed in 37(67.3%) of non-tumor tissues samples of 55 HCQwhile in the corresponding tumor tissues 29(52.7%) of samples showed overexpression. There was a significant difference between TRPV5 expression and histopathological differentiation (P<0.00l). Conclusion:TRPV5 is highly expressed in both non-tumor and tumor tissues. The higher expression is related to histopathological differentiation,suggesting that TRPV5 may play a role in hepatocarcinogenesis.关键词
