摘要
Abstract
Endothelial lipase (EL) is a new member of recently discovered triglyceride lipase gene family. It is a key enzyme in HDL decomposition.EL plays an important role in coronary artery disease by reducing HDL levels.Recent studies have found that EL is involved in the three key processes of atherosclerosis (AS) formation:lipoprotein metabolism, endothelial injury and inflammation. Thus, EL maybe the mediaum of AS formation. Clinical studies have shown that EL may be an important risk factor for coronary artery disease. However, most of the current studies on EL and coronary artery disease are basic research, and clinical research has just begun.关键词
