Simulation and Experimental Study of Non-contact Strain Measurement Using Digital Image Correlation

Abstract
Digital image correlation is a new experimental method for measuring full - field displacement and strain. In this method, the correlation function and the size of the subset are the key factors for calculating accuracy. In this paper, the influence of two factors on the accuracy of strain measurement under normal light and the Gaussian uneven lighting conditions respectively is studied by using speckle images of the known strain deformation. The optimal correlation function and subset size are obtained for various measurement requirements. Finally, the measuring accuracy of this method is verified and analyzed with the tensile experiments.关键词
