Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical effects of the integration of TCM and Western medicine on the treatment of premature ovarian failure. Methods:60 patients were divided into two groups by the method of random number table. The control group(30 cases) was regularly and artificially given estrogen and progestin. The treatment group ( 30 cases) was additionally given Chinese medicine of adding and subtracting Zuogui Pill[Recipe components: Rehmannia 24 g,12 g of the antler (molten) ,Chinese yam 12 g,dogwood 12 g,wolfber-ry fruit 12 g, dodder seed 12 g,the turtle shell (molten) 12 g,Cyathula9 g] based on the treatment of the control group, one dose a day by taking medicine in the morning and evening respectively. After one treatment course of 3 menstrual cycles, the clinical effects and the variations of the indicators such as the levels of serum E2, FSH, LH, and the improvements of symptoms in both groups were also observed. Results:The total effective rate in the treatment group treated by integration of TCM and Western medicine was 66. 7% ,which was higher than the control group of 55.0% ,and had the least side effects on breast. Conclusion:Integration of TCM and Western medicine has significant effect on the treatment of premature ovarian failure.关键词
