Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Xiaoyao Loubei San in the treatment of fleshy goiter. Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given Eu-thyrox. Based on the above treatment, the treatment group was additionally given Xiaoyao Loubei San with addition and subtraction (composition: snakegourd fruit 30 g, Fritillaria thunbergii 15 g, Radix Bupleuri 10 g, white peony root 15 g,angelica 10 g, Poria 15 g. White Atractylodes RhizomelO g, Laminaria japonica aiesch 20 g, sargassum 20 g). The patients were continually treated for 4 courses with four weeks as a course of treatment. The variations of the size of thyroid adenoma were dynamically checked by B ultrasound. Results: After treatment, the independent sample t-test of ihe thyroid functions (FT3, FT4, TT3, TT4, TSH, TPO, TGAb ) showed the difference was not statistically significant ( P > 0. 05 ) ; the paired sample t-test for the liver functions (ALT, AST), kidney functions (BUN, Scr) and blood routine showed the difference was not statistically significant ( P > 0. 05 ) before and after treatment; the test for electrocardiogram showed the difference was not statistically significant ( P > 0.05 ) before and after treatment. The clinical therapeutic effects of two groups showed that in the control group, none were cured (0% ), 20 cases were improved (66. 7% ) , 10 cases were not cured (33.3% ) and the effective rates were 67.7%. For the treatment group, 1 case was cured (3.33% ), 25 cases were improved (83.4% ), 4 cases were not cured (13. 3% ) and the effective rates were 86. 7%. Comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed the difference was statistically significant (P > 0.05 ). Conclusion: The addition and subtraction of Xiaoyao Loubei San has reliable curative effect in treating fleshy goiter.关键词
