Abstract
Rubber wastewater is generally characterized with high concentrations of salt and organic contaminants,deep chromaticity,and difficult to be biologically degraded compared to the ordinary wastewater.The biochemical treatment and membrane filtration are the major components of membrane bioreactor(MBR) technology.Application of MBR technology to rubber wastewater treatment showed that the average removal rates of COD,NH3-N and phosphate were all above 85%.With the help of chemical agents,the chromaticity and concentration of organic pollutants can be further degraded,and the quality of treated water meets the requirement of Guangdong provincial discharge standard.This technology will possibly become an efficient means to overcome the difficult in the treating process of the rubber wastewater.关键词
