Isolation of a desulfurization strain and desulfurization dynamics

Abstract
An anaerobic strain of sulfate-reducing bacteria was isolated from the sludge in secondary sedimentation tank of a sewage treatment plant.According to the analysis of physiological and biochemical measurements and its 16S rDNA gene sequence,the strain was identified as Desulfovibrio desulfuricans.The kinetic model for sulfur dioxide purification by Desulfovibrio desulfuricans in a stirred bioreactor was established based on the double film theory and the monod kinetic equation.The maximum convert rate of the medium and saturation constant were also calculated.The linear equation acquired from the experiment had good correlation and the linear correlation coefficient was 0.998.Desulfovibrio desulfuricans absorption liquid has high ability to treat SO2.关键词
