Effect of Secondary Aging on Mechanical Properties of Ti40 Alloy
摘要
Abstract
The effect of secondary ageing on mechanical properties of burn-resistant β titanium alloy Ti40 Alloy was investigated, and their microstructures were analyzed by OM and SEM. The results showed that the tensile ductility of the alloy decreased obviously with the increase of secondary aging time and aging temperature, especially after thermal exposure. Phase analysis indicated that the precipitations and growth of Ti, Si3 phase are the main reasons of the decrease of tensile ductility. Increasing secondary aging time and temperature are favorable for the stress rupture properties of Ti40 alloy.关键词
