Effects of nitrogen on defense enzyme activity and resistance of potato
摘要
Abstract
Effects of fertilizer with different nitrogen levels was studied on defense enzyme activity and resistance of potato by method of comparative physiology,using two potato varieties of different late blight resistance as materials. The results showed that, under natural field conditions,when the quantity of pure nitrogen fertilizer was 135 kg. hm^-2, defense enzyme activity of PPO, POD and PAL in leaves was the highest, and the late blight was on lesser extent.Thus, different nitrogen fertilizer levels obviously affected on activities of 3 kinds of defensive enzymes,the best nitrogen level regulated activity of PPO,POD and beta - 1,3 - glueanase, nitrogen related to potato resistance.The study clarified physiological basis of potato late blight resistance from the changes of defense enzyme activity and provided the theoretical basis of choosing proper fertilization level.关键词
