摘要
Abstract
Aimed at studying the working mechanism of spiral groove dry gas seals with circumfer- ence through slot, this paper describes the use of fluent software to simulate and analyze the face flow field with circumference through slot in spiral groove dry gas seal model, along with comparative analysis of the effects of a single spiral groove and an extra circumference perforation slot at the same time. Result shows that spiral groove dry gas seal with circumference through slot boasts a smaller leakage, bigger o- pening force, and uniformly-distributed face pressure in the circumferential direction, thus contributing much more to obtaining stable non-contact operation of the dynamic and static ring face and ensuring the stability of the seal face. The numerical simulation analysis shows that the circumference through slot has the best geometry parameters range of 2.0 -3.0 bμm in width and 2.0-4.0 μm in depth.关键词
