摘要

Abstract

Double circulation cyclone separator has a cylinder-cone structure with two tangential gas inlets, I. E. The main inlet and the reflux inlet, located at the middle and top part of its cylinder wall separately. A stabilizing cone is installed below the dust duct, and a suction outlet is located at the side wall of the dust hopper. The effect of inlet position, inlet gas velocity, stabilizing cone and gas suction operation on the separation performance of the new equipment was experimentally studied. The experimental equipment has a diameter of 0. 250 m. The test material is silica sand powder with the particle size of 0. 1-36 μm, and the mean particle diameter of 8.72 μm. The results show that while feeding by main inlet with gas velocity varying within 12-19 m/s, the total collection efficiency is 98.5% -99.17% , and the collection efficiency of particles larger than 3 μm is nearly 100%. The total collection efficiency of feeding by main inlet is 1.5% -3.5% higher than that by reflux inlet. While feeding by main inlet, the stabilizing cone and suction operation can increase the total collection efficiency by 0. 15%-0. 2% and 0. 3%-0.4% respectively. While feeding by reflux inlet, the total collection efficiency is increased by 1.5%-2% and 0.6% -1 % respectively.
