Abstract
In order to reduce the energy consumption and guide the industrial production, the influence of C5 circulating quantity on the energy consumption of extraction in the C, separation process was researched. Based on the chemical process simulation software Aspen Plus, a whole dimethyl formamide ( DMF) separation process for C5 was calculated by UNIFAC model, which concluded more satisfactory results. On that basis, the influence of C5 circulating quantity on the energy consumption of extraction and stripping columns for the two extraction units was calculated. The results show that the UNIFAC model is applicable to the calculations of the C5 systems. The C5 circulating quantity gives the similar results for both the first and the second extraction units. With the increase of C5 circulating quantity, the heat load of the top and bottom of stripping columns increase, and the heat load of the bottom of extracting columns decreases firstly and remains constant afterward, while the heat load of the top remains unchanged throughout the time. The heat load of the distillation column and the bottom temperature of the extracting columns should be taken into considerations in the engineering applications, and the appropriate C5 circulating quantity should be selected.关键词
