摘要

Abstract

Euler model and discrete phase model (DPM) were chosen for air phase and particle phase respectively to simulate the flow field of the feeding pipe in SCX superfine classifier based on the software FLUENT. The numerical results reveal that the flow field in the feeding pipe is non-uniform and exhibits obvious channel flow. Guide vanes were employed to optimize the structure of the bended pipe. The influences of the number, size and spacing assignment of guide vanes on the distributions of pressure, velocity and particle mass concentration were comparatively analyzed. The numerical results show that guide vanes can improve the quality of the flow field in the feeding pipe. The optimal conditions for guide vanes installed in the feeding pipe are equally distributed with 5 in number, and 1/4 circle in size with extended length 150 mm (1.2 times of radius) before and after the circle. Accordingly, the pressure, velocity, and particle mass concentration distribution in the feeding pipe are evenly distributed, which provides a good premise for the classification performance.
