Optimal pulse shaping for peak-to-average power ratio reduction of OFDM signal
摘要
Abstract
In order to reduce the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal frequency di- vision multiplexing (OFDM) signal, the theoretical model of PS-based OFDM system was analyzed. A method to get an optimal Nyquist pulse which can improve the PAPR performance by adjusting therolling-factor according to the practical application was proposed. The proposed pulse-shaping technique was more adaptable and practical than traditional work, without increasing the bit error rate (BER) of original system. The simulation results show that the novel Nyquist pulse shaping techniquecan significantly improve the PAPR performance with BER, and the PAPR of PS-OFDM can reach to the level of single carrier with an optimal constant BER by choosing an appropriate rolling factor.关键词
