Low-delay data collection approach in wireless sensor networks with mobile sinks
摘要
Abstract
A low-delay data collection based on ring-like routes(LDCR) was proposed,in which the sink node moved along a ring-like route to decrease the waiting time of some data packets.In addition,once the sink node stopped,it immediately broadcasted a HELLO message to inform the sensor nodes within the communicaion range to transmit data packets.Performance evaluation shows that the proposed approach outperforms the existing data collection approaches which make the sink node move along a reciprocal route in terms of average end-to-end delay of data packets,throughput,delivery success rate,and memory overhead.关键词
