Abstract
The modified single-base gun propellant samples were prepared based on 5/7 single-base gun propellantwith high N content by dipping NG, then desensitizer NA polyester. In the sample preparing process the content ofNA was kept invariable and the mass content of NG was 5% ,10% and 15% , respectively. Three samples, |RN-a,RN-b and RN-c, were prepared. The effect of NG content on the burning performance of modified single-base gunpropellant was studied based on the closed bomb test and interior ballistic test with 30mm gun. The results showthat the burning progressivity of all the three samples is better than that of original 5/7 single-base gun propellant.Under equivalent maximum pressure, muzzle velocity of the RN-a, RN-b and RN-c propellant charges is increasedby 36. 9, 91. 7 and 57. 4m/s respectively compared to the original 5/7 single-base gun propellant. The performanceof modified single-base gun propellant can be optimized by adjusting the content of NG, so that the muzzle velocitycan be greatly increased.关键词
