Abstract
By making an analysis of the physical properties of the photovoltaic cells, a relatively accurate mathematical model is established, then a simulation model in PSIM software which can reflect the changes of the outside temperature and the light intensity is built up, and based on all of this, a simulation model which can make a simulation of the algorithm of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is set up. The original perturbation observation method is analyzed, based on which a new algorithm is designed, I.e. Three-points with variable steps perturbation observation method. A comparison of the results of simulations between the two algorithms is made, and the results show that the new algorithm will enhance the speed and accuracy of maximum power point tracking, and improve the utilization rate of photovoltaic cells.关键词
