摘要

Abstract

The power line channel modeling and carrier frequency optimization are the theoretical basis of high-speed data transmission over the power line. This paper gives a brief introduction about the basic theories of signal transmission on power-line at first, and then an overview on power-line communication channel modeling methods which are classified according to the model parameters acquisition approaches is presented: channel modeling in this paper is divided into up-down methods and bottom-top methods, the development process of each method is given and the advantages and disadvantages of each method are analyzed in detail. Results show that the up-down model methods have low accuracy and the bottom-top model methods have poor expansibility. Thus a bottom-top channel model method of power line communication based on the graph theory is proposed. The method has high excellent expansibility and the possibility to be applied to smart grid medium-voltage power-line communication is analyzed.This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 51007065).
