摘要

Abstract

Probabilistic production simulation is an important tool for economic and technical analysis in power system. And it is widely used in many areas such as production costs calculation, power system planning and reliability evaluation, etc. This paper firstly introduces several traditional methods of probabilistic production simulation, and then describes a new method which has been developed in recent years that is nodal probabilistic production cost simulation considering transmission unavailability. Based on the above, the paper then reviews the applications of the probabilistic production simulation in power system, including generation expansion planning, reliability evaluation, unit commitment and electricity market. At the same time, the paper describes the applications of the probabilistic production simulation in wind power integrated system, especially the applications of Monte Carlo simulation. Finally, some recommendations about the application prospect of the probabilistic production in power system are put forward.
