摘要
Abstract
The incidence of epilepsy is 0.3% to 0.5% in women at reproductive age. Most women with epilepsy should continue to take antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) even during lactation to control seizure. Although breast milk is the best natural food for babies, almost all AEDs can enter the baby's body together with breast milk. Whether patients taking AEDs can breastfeed their babies or not has therefore become a thorny problem for both doctors and patients. This paper aims to review relevant literature in China and abroad to guide epileptic mothers in choosing AEDs rationally during lactation, thereby avoiding or reducing to the utmost extent the adverse effects of AEDs on infants.关键词
