Abstract
The bending stiffnesses of two types of corrugated-core sandwich plates were compared by using Meshfree Calerkin method. The moving least-squares approximation (MLS) was adopted to construct the shape function based on Mindlin plate theory, and the approximate displacement fields of the plates were obtained. The stiffness equation of the entire structure was deduced by imposing the displacement compatible conditions between the plates. The essential boundary conditions were introduced by the full transformation method. The conclusion of the paper is that in the same conditions, the bending stiffness of corrugated-core sandwich plate (trapezoidally) is greater than corrugated-core sandwich plate (sinusoidally).关键词
