Abstract
In order to seek for ways to improve the transmission quality of passive optical network, firstly, combining fiber Bragg grating( FBG) with wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network(WDM-PON) , a PON downlink transmission system was designed based on FBG demultiplex. Secondly, theoretical analysis was carried mil, and simulation was conducted for the system with OptiSystem. Finally, the transmission characteristics of the system were tested in terms of channel crosstalk, bit error features etc, and the factors affecting the transmission performance were analyzed. Compared with one current WDM-PON systems,this system turns out to have higher side mode suppression ratio and Q-fautior, and lower bit error rate. The result shows that this system performs well and achieves certain promotion compared with other current systems.关键词
