摘要

Abstract

Software simulated hardware fault injection can not break through protection of operating system, leaving the fault injection to be limited. This paper presents a hardware fault injection method based on JTAG debugging techniques. By setting break points, setting watch points or sending debugging request to the target system when it is running, the target system can be turned to hardware debugging mode. By shifting bus based scan chain or adding instructions to pipe to change bus data, register data or memory data, fault injection can make effort. Experimental results show that the method can realize fault injection successfully.
