An Improvement Object Handoff Algorithm Based on Projective Invariants

Abstract
In the multi-camera surveillance system, object handoff between two images and handoff of objects is an important research content. In this paper, an algorithm was proposed that realizes object handoff by using scale-invariant features transform (SIFT) and protective invariants with color information, without knowing the camera calibration information. By using SIFT algorithm, matching points are automatically generated between two images and camera FOV lines are also obtained. Then, confirming the identity of the target between multi-cameras by using projective invariants with color information algorithm.关键词
