Research on Resisting Co-channel Interference of Radar Formation Based onGenetic Algorithm

Abstract
In order to avoid or overcome co-channel interference in the same frequency radar formation, the radars must transmit specially designed orthogonal signals, so the key of anti-jamming is to design with low autocorrelation and cross-correlation signals. Aimed at the characteristics of frequency-coding, a new method of signal processing for radar formation to resist co-channel interference is proposed, genetic algorithm is used to optimize coding sequence of the co-channel radar signals, which designed with good autocorrelation and cross-correlation properties of orthogonal signals, to resist co-channel interference. Simulation results show that the method is effective and viable.关键词
