摘要

Abstract

The design of multiplex and concurrent technical support system based on remote frame buffer ( RFB) protocol is presented in the paper according to the demand of meteorological observing equipment support and the actual situation of isolation of intranet and extranet of meteorological communication networks. The system is based on TCP/IP reliable data transfer protocol, it employs the image compression capability and image reproduction function of RFB protocol and uses true thin-client technology and platform independence, overcomes the barriers from firewalls of intranet and extranet on remote technical support, enables the convenient realisation of remote technical guidance, remote operational training and remote unattended monitoring. Practices proved that the system effectively improves the remote support efficiency of meteorological observing equipments in Guangdong, and greatly lowers the equipment maintenance cost.
