Abstract
Objective To investigate nursing strategies of invasive - noninvasive sequential mechanical ventilation in severe respiratory failure. Methods Forty - seven patients with severe respiratory failure received invasive - noninvasive sequential mechanical ventilation. Careful observation and proper nursing were administered. Results The hospital mortality rate and incidence of ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) of these patients, and hospital stay were shortened. Conclusion The cure rate of severe respiratory failure can be improved by collaborative cooperation between nurses and doctors. Right and corresponding nursing should be based on the specific conditions of patients, together with the proper use of specialized nursing.关键词
