Abstract
Objective To explore the nursing intervention strategy for hypoglycemia in the treatment of hemodialysis for senile patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods The blood glucose levels of 15 senile patients with diabetic nephropathy who received hemodialysis were monitored and their changes of condition were closely observed in order to find hypoglycemia earlier and take prompt actions. Results Fifteen senile patients with diabetic nephropathy in the group had only 14 hypoglycemia reactions of 910 times of hemodialysis (1.54%). One patient fell into coma and all of the 14 patients with hypoglycemia reactions received immediate treatment. Conclusion Senile patients with diabetic nephropathy tend to have hypoglycemia. To reduce hypoglycemia, we should pay attention to patients' diet, use appropriate hypoglycemic drugs, closely observe the progression and give prompt treatment when necessary.关键词
