Abstract
Objective To explore evidence - based nursing (EBN) combined with clinical nursing pathway in nursing children with diabetes. Methods A total of 48 child patients with diabetes were equally randomized into EBN group and control group. EBN group implemented evidence - based nursing in terms of blood sugar monitoring, insulin injections, diet, exercise, psychological and health education. Scientific evidence was collected to guide clinical nursing and initiate clinical nursing pathway. The control group, on the other hand, only received the conventional nursing. Results The average durations of hospital stay, incidence rates of adverse events, effects of systematic education in diabetes before, 1 month and 6 month after, and the satisfactorinesses of children and their families to nursing were compared. The EBN group was obviously better than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion EBN combined with clinical nursing pathway can solve many practical questions of patients, improve nursing quality, smooth the communication between medical staff and patients, and help child patients return to school and society earlier.关键词
