摘要

Abstract

From the 1990s to the present period of rapid development of the Internet, at present, China's total Internet users, 298 million people, has become the country with the largest global Internet users. Followed by a search service needs to increase the size of the Chinese search engine users has reached 203 million as of the end of 2008. According to the iResearch Consulting (iResearch) released a report, the Chinese search engine market in 2008 has reached 5.03 billion yuan. Baidu and Google as the leader of the Chinese search engine industry, the competition between the two will affect the market structure and market performance of the sheer size of the market and the welfare of consumers, so the competition between the two analytical thinking with reality significance .
