Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of proximal femoral nail antirotation( PFNA ) for the treatment of reverse intertrochanteric fractures. Methods 21 cases of reverse intertrochanteric fractures were treated with PFNA fixation. All cases were reduced through longitudinal traction on the traction table, without exposing of the fracture section during the operation. Results 21 cases were followed up for 12 ～ 36 months. All fractures healing time was 13 ～ 28 weeks. One patient complained of hip pain. One case healed up with 10° varus deformity. Two cases had limb length discrepancy. No complications such as cut-out or breakage of the implants occurred. Conclusions PFNA is an effective treatment method for reverse intertrochanteric fractures with less tissue damage, more stable fixation and less complications.关键词
