Optimization of Search Parameters of Long Range Phased Array Radar

Abstract
The phased array radar can implement multi-tasks simultaneously for its non-inertial agile beam. But the total radar resource is fixed, the search resource should be decreased when other tasks, such as tacking, contest for the radar resource, thereby the search performance reduces. According to the search method of the long range phased array radar, this paper proposes a search performance optimization model which takes the capture time as the target function, as well as three search parameter optimization design methods, I. E. , AFP, ADP and AFPADP. At the premises of assuring minimal capture time, adjustment of the search frame period and single detect probability alone or simultaneously is used to adapt the decrease of search resource and achieve maximal search performance. Computer simulation is conducted to compare the search performances of the three methods. The result shows AFPADP can achieve best performance.关键词
