Abstract
A novel localization algorithm of near-field targets is proposed based on the virtual array of MIMO radar. A new matrix has been obtained from the cross-covariance of the virtual arrays formed by MI-MO radar, and the 3-D parameters can be directly estimated by the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the new matrix. Since the noise of different virtual arrays is uncorrelated, the proposed algorithm is suitable for arbitrary additive Gaussian noise environments. Compared with the existing near-field targets localization algorithms with passive array, the proposed method can pair the parameters automatically, and it does not have the problem of the loss of receiver array apertures. The correction and efficiency of the proposed method are verified by the computer simulation results.关键词
