核主泵备用机械密封材料的摩擦性能研究
Study on Frictional Performance of Mechanical Seal Spare Material Used for Nuclear Coolant Pump

Abstract
It was studied that the effection of load and velocity on the frictional performance of mechanical sea] material used for nuclear coolant pump; sintered pressureless bonded SiC (WNV2) and graphite -added silicon carhide (CHV1), sintered reaction bonded SiC (Ft) and graphite - added silicon carhide ( R2), and graphite( MSMG) using Fairs - 1506 triho - machine. The morphology of ihe worn surfaces was observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and ibe damage features were characterized. The results revealed that small holes in silicon carbide and graphite contain more fluid medias under high load, so the friction coefficient decreases with increasing applied load. Velocity affects friction force through the influence of temperature which changes the properties of surface. Mechanical properties of silicon carbide and graphite change little under a witle range of temperature, so the friction coefficient remains the same with increasing velocity.关键词
