摘要

Abstract

Automobile water pump is one of the most important parts for a cooling system in the internal combustion engine. In this paper, the strength analysis of an impeller has been carried out by means of a finite element analysis software. The detailed stress distribution of the impeller is obtained under the combined loads. The results and conclusions are considered to be a useful reference for the optimal design and reliable operation of an automobile water pump impeller.
