Abstract

The relationship between the stem sap flow of young Chinese jujuba (Ziziphus jujuba) and environmental factors has been researched in the Hongqipo farmland of Aksu city by using F1CS-TDP. The results showed that during the growing season, the daily change of stem sap flow rate was a single peak curve. It increased sharply after 10:00 and arrived at its peak around 14:00 and decreased sharply after 17:30. Daily accumulative water consumption was 1.43 L/day, in which water consumption was 91.19% -98.07% in daytime, while it was 1.93% -8.81% in night. The feeble sap flow of Chinese jujuba was occasionally observed at the night due to air temperature. Average water consumption in April was 7. 18 L and it was the minimum in growth season. Average water consumption in July was 29.85 L and it was the maximum. Water consumption in April was 23.96% in July. The results of progressively regression showed that the sap flow of woods was synthetically affected by environmental factors. According to analysis results, the environmental factors were ranked as: solar radiation, total radiation, air temperature, wind speed and relative humidity. Correlation coefficient was 0.68 and deciding coefficient was 0.48. Environmental factors which affected seasonal change of sap flow were ranked as; air temperature, total radiation, solar radiation, relative humidity and wind speed. Correlation and deciding coefficient were 0.89.
