摘要

Abstract

The temporary frequency overvoltage occurred in power systems could lead to a high amplitude excitation current that may damage the insulation of transformers,and thus the excitation current characteristics of transformers is worth to research.Based on Jiles-Atherton hysteresis model of transformers,this paper makes simulations on the no-load excitation current of transformers with Matlab software,and obtains the excitation current waveforms on various levels of voltage.The simulation results of an 11 kV transformer,as an example,are consistent with the reality.
