Abstract
Objective To study the effect of medical wrinkle paper and medical non-woven fabric on bacteria-resisting. Methods Broth mediums stored in three common wards and in sterilized articles store area of central sterile supply department (CSSD) were divided into experiment group with samples packaged by double layers of medical wrinkle paper and medical non-woven fabrics and control group one with samples packaged by double layers of medical wrinkle paper and control group two with double layers of medical non-woven fabrics. The growth of the bacteria was observed and the temperature and humidity of each common ward were recorded as well. Results No positive sample was found in sterilized articles store area of CSSD until the end of the experiment and in three common wards, validity period were (117.6±1.9) d, (120.1±1.7) d, (72.2±1.8) d respectively. There was longer validity period in experiment group and control group one than that in control group two (P<0.000 1) and the average temperature and humidity in three wards were 25℃ and 82.6% respectively while the a.verage temperalure and humidity in sterilized articles store area of CSSD were 22℃ and 59.8% respectively. Conclusion The humidity and temperature of sterility's storage environment directly influence the validity of sterility. Based on the average growth time and cost accounting of bacteria, medical compound packaging made by both wrinkle paper and medical non-woven fabric shows more advantages.关键词
